I love how moves the head when he plays, so serious and focused, he looks like a child at the school play and at the same time you feel that he is only there for the music, just for music, there is nothing else!

the other singer sounds a lot like elliott smith.

he clearly has a reverse effects pedal going at that point. you can see him start playing before you hear any of the notes, so he plays a lick, and a moment later the pedal reverses it. you can even sorta see him hit the pedal right around the 4.11 mark. many delay pedals have reverse features like that on them.

Any idea how he did the reverse feedback? I'd love to know. I've got the whole song down to a science except for that part.

It's mainly just a pedal/amp/or setting on the guitar, he dosent have magical fingers or anything, although it seems like he does.
