Whatever this is, it's one of my all-time favorite songs.

@lindsey13184 Thank you for liking good music. :)

I cannot believe the ignorant shit being said on this thread...The Punch Brothers are NOT a bluegrass band. Actually, screw genre distinction because WHO THE FUCK CARES?!?! Did Chris Thile ASK you to critique his music? Are you a critic for the NY times?! Are YOU the world leader in your instrument?! If you don't like hearing this music then search something else on the internet and stop pissing and moaning. NO ONE wants to hear it, and no one cares.

@bluegrassingingman You're both insulting to gays and to Chris. He's a genius on the mandolin and never said he was playing bluegrass. He out grew bluegrass years ago. Personally I love bluegrass, but I like hearing any master musician play whatever he likes to play. Don't expect Chris to go back to bluegrass. It's not going to happen. Just appreciate the fine work he did as a kid when he played bluegrass. Like many great musicians, Chris needed to grow into other types of music.

@lindsey13184 They are pure Gay. Bill Monroe would be ashamed of what their trying to do with Bluegrass. All Chris Thile does is insult Bluegrass pickers every chance he gets. Like on Tempest Real he claims bluegrass pickers are going to F, and their not. It goes to Em, so how amazing is Chris, how Talented is he now? I think he claimed it went to Am. The song goes to Em.

@lindsey13184 What they are doing is trash.

@bluegrasssingingman Actually, they do understand what bluegrass is and where it came from, if you haven't seen them do Bill Monroe songs or even some of their own, don't say stuff like that. Why does everything have to be about genres? What these boys are doing is purely MUSIC, not defined by what people expect when they see the bluegrass instrumentation. They are all some of THE most talented musicians on each of their instruments in today's world, why don't you just appreciate it as MUSIC.

nice.. its always good to hear new creative stuff like this. These guys all understand where bluegrass came form and what it stands for and i believe they are doing a great job in taking it to new places..... "respect your roots but dont stay stuck in the rut"
