with all due respect to the Suntones, they are not even close to the Hi-Los. Hi-Lo's is it for me!

My late father owed every one of these albums. He sang in a barbershop quartet with Gordon Lightfoot in the late 50's. The Hi-Lo's music is the background of my childhood. Dad said there never were a better vocal team. We played their rendition of How Are Things In Gloca Mora at his funeral. Thank you for this.

Just the greatest vocal group of all times. One more jewel of our musical culture and history which sadly has been left by the side of the road. Make way for the new and forget about what has come before. I believe that this wanton disregard for the art of our youth and our parents breeds the rootlessness and longing that haunts so many of our youth today. Is it that people can't hear it cause they can't feel it? If that is the case sadly it has become part of our culture.
