Ex-yugoslav countries voting for Serbia has nothing to do with politics, only with the quality of the song! If there was politics, Serbia would receive 0 points from Croatia for example. I'm a Serb and I know the situation over here.

If the UK had an amazing song, we still wouldnt have won because all of the Eastern European countrys hate our country, so we might aswell drop out of this unfair competition.

@13YearOldSteward Typical English attitude. The only way that you could have possibly lost is that everyone was against you. Can't you just accept that this song was much better than yours for this year (which it was).

i love it allot,beautifull number

Woah, the main singer isn't a girl is it? =S ....

if serbia won first time as just serbia maybe the uk should split up next year and see what happens

"Dyke" is a common derogatory term for lesbians in English; it's not part of any particular "accent" (I think you meant dialect). I don't know your race or nationality to be racist against you but you are quite obviously an ignorant homophobe. If you knew anything about that part of the world you would already know that the ex-Yugoslav republics voted for this song despite their almost unanimous anti-Serb hatred, not because of any loyalty to Serbia!

Serbia stole this song! and so i might a tad homophobic but i dont care. i know gay ppl. i dont hate them. but i dont wanna get into that instead im fedup and just want to tell you that ur crap!

Again, your argument falls flat on its face when you consider that many of the acts had gay performers and/or themes for which the gay audience could have voted. In fact, her possible lesbianism would probably have worked against her, given that Eurovision is most popular amongst gay men, who tend to loathe lesbians almost as much as heterosexuals do. I would argue that few groups are so reviled in the Western world as lesbians and Serbs.

WTF Ukraine came second, that guy looked slighty effeminate (yes i can use big words too :P) i don't know any gay men that watch eurovision. eurovision is aways a political act so Serbia musnt have p***ed anyone off this year. For exam all the Baltic countries seem to vote for each other basically because of the suppression they have suffered for many years and so other countries do exactly the same.

and hey if u wanna suggest im picking on her for being gay i believe u said in ur last little tantrum " 'dyke', as you so politely put it" which ppl say round were i grew up therefore it is part of an accent so if u are making fun of my accent then u are infact racist and can bugger off

What a ridiculous suggestion. Considering the systematic demonisation of Serbia and the Serbs in the global media in recent years, it is a miracle that a Serb was able to win at all. Serbia won in *spite* of the politics, not because of it. And even if she were a "dyke", as you so politely put it, would that make her any less deserving of the win?

lol it could make a hell lot a difference for example in big brother if there is a gay person in with some straight ppl then the homosexual community could take sympathy on this person or just relate more to this person than all the rest and therefore vote accordingly. I'm not saying anything about her deserving it less i'm saying that the vote was mostly if not completely political (still putting into consideration your political argument) and that that played a big part in her winning
