@westthea you are right on the fact that it does matter where it came from because we can learn from our mistakes. If it came from animals then we should be careful about meat handling and eating foods like monkeys. If it came from man made government conspiracy then we should be concerned about the future. I haven't done enough research to know where it came from, but saying that it doesn't matter like the man in this video..... is silly.

AIDS, Ammunodeficiency Syndrome, is a virus that many individuals have pondered on for years. The question revolve around, "What exactly is AIDS & where did it come from. The doctor attempted to answer the questions, however it remains slightly unanswered. Hower, in agreement with the doctor those questions can be over looked by how can we contain and stop the epidemic.

AIDS is a retro virus targeting mostly africans. It was manufactured by the US gov't to target and control various groups within society in America. Everybody can be ineffected but statistically blacks and minorities are high.

He didn't answer either question!!! He says you can get it from drug use - which is nuts.

He's not alone - they haven't even done the test to isolate it yet so the AIDS test and search for cures are....shooting in the dark. Reason: it's origin in polio and Hepatitus vaccines might discourage people from taking them.

Well, actually it does matter.

The World Health Org. is innoculating millions of Africans with Polio and Hepititas vaccines. The vaccines are grown in chimp-tissue cultures. AIDS ''jumped from SIM'' (from chimps or monkeys). The incidence of the explosion of AIDS in the Congo co-incides exactly with the places the polio vaccine was given. The geographical co-insidence remains. Forget the origin? We haven't even isoloated it yet - no one knows if it really is a descreet virus at all.

I completely agree with Dr. Kpoku. It is unimportant as to where AIDS came from, but more important as to what we as a people can do to combat this. This is an epidemic within the African American community and we as a people need to take action, and quickly.

lots of doctors know it's origins, it comes from siv which is simian immunodefiency virus which is found in apes. In all probability it siv got into human blood through eating monkeys or drinking there blood and then mutated. another example of this is the bird flu.
