PDANet: Tether your iPhone to your PC!!

This is by far the easiest way to tether your iPhone to your PC.

1) Lets start with your PC config:

1. Click the Start Button and select Control Panel.
2. Select Network and Internet. (If Control Panel is in Classic View, skip this step)
3. Open Network and Sharing Center.
4. Select Set up a connection or network (in the left pane).
5. In the resulting window, select Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network.
6. Click Next and again on the following page.
7. In the Network name textbox, input iPhone as the name of the network.
8. Select a security type from the dropdown. (If you select WEP, you will need to enter a security key in the unghosted textbox)
9. If you want to use this network more than once, check the Save this network checkbox, if you only need it for a one time fix, leave the checkbox unchecked.
10. Click Next.
11. Click Close.

2)Lets now configure the iPhone.

1. Press the main Application button.
2. Select Settings, then select Wi-Fi from the menu, let your iPhone scan for a network and the network iPhone will pop-up.
3. Connect to the network iPhone.

3) Start PDANet and viola! You're connected!

No. The point of this application is to turn your iPhone into a wireless point. Use PDANet when you don't have any other access to the internet.

steps for infinite wifi!

1)Create wifi from your iphone using pdanet or MyWi

2)go to ur iphone

3)click on settings and turn wifi on

4)click on the wifi name you just created

5)your data doesnt add up if you are on wifi!

So never get charged for data again! INFINITE DATA!

to be honest i focused on the reflection of the fan from 0:10 to 2:11 i didnt hear a word u said so i watched it 2 times the second time,paying more attention.That fan is very entertaining though!

Good video, helpful until the part where you select ad-hoc comp to comp. I am running a windows 7 desktop and i dont see that in tge options, i see: connect to the internet, set up a new network, connect to a workplace, set up dial-up connection
