You're absolutely right-- I think that's obvious. Hamas is the democratically elected government. Are they more violent than the US? They kill far less people even than Israel. They jail less people than Israel. I see no reason not to talk with them or there is no hope of peace. What Israel is doing to Gaza is war crimes.

You are right ,In history our region was one piece before British and France came and divide it . My grand father born in 1883 here before Jordan existed in 1921. Do you think this region was empty of people . every one knows who belong to this region ,this region controlled by many empires ,Islamic empire ,Ottoman ,Roman , Greece ,etc. you can't say an European man has the right to be here because he is Jewish or Malaysian because he is Muslim or British because he is Christian.

Not, Palestine was the creation of the British in 1919. When the Palestine Arabs were offered their own state in 1947 they rejected it. They won't except Israel's right to exist.
