TV9 - Sonu Nigam's Son Hits Bull's-eye with "Kolaveri Di".........!



MUMBAI: 'Why This Kolaveri Di' has truly been the song of the year, leaving a tremendous impact on its audience. Sonu Nigam's four-year-old son, Nevaan has recorded his own version of 'Kolaveri Di' which has also been a huge rage and generated over one million views in just three days.

Dhanush's song was called 'Soup Song', while Nevaan calls his version 'Milk Song'. The video features Neevan behind the mike while Sonu and his wife Madhurima watch his performance in the recording studio. Nevaan changes the lyrics to adapt to his milieu i.e. 'Scotch' is replaced with 'milk'. The video put up on youtube is fast turning a sensation for the innocence in Nevaan's singing.

Tamil movie star Dhanush is highly impressed by the song, he tweeted, "Oh my god I'm in love with Nevaan's version of 'Kolaveri'. Great idea Sonu Niigaamji. It's very touching and endearing. Hi 5 Nevaan. God bless."

After recieving Dhanush's compliments, Sonu tweeted: "Thank u @dhanushkraja ji... He so loved the song that we thought we should do this for him... And now he thinks you'll meet him More Power!"

Dhanush enthusiatically tweeted back, "@sonuniigaam he is a Rockstarji. Would love to meet him and also make a video with him. I know he will steal the show. Still... God bless,"

Internet phenomenon Kolaveri which surpassed all previous benchmarks and became popular in a very short span received three millions hits in a week, while Nevaan's version in turn has garnered one million views in just three days. Till now Kolaveri Di' has received over 17 million hits on YouTube since its release on 16 November. ' Will the milk version break the records of the original?
