Don't assume I have made a knee jerk reaction. My thesis (albeit, just a masters) is on irrational belief and science denialism. I have read a significant amount.

You are confusing 'open mindedness' with gullibility. Open mindedness is reserving judgement and making rational decisions based upon available evidence, which can be changed when new evidence becomes available.

Anti-vaccine and pro-homeopatic positions are at odd with the all available evidence. These positions are anti-scientific.

What your comments imply to me is that Bialik's brain is open to ideas outside the box of mainstream science. I take that as a good thing. Although I know nothing of the Holistic Mom's Network, I do know there was a time when thinking the earth was not flat was the day's pseudoscience woo-woo drivel. I prefer to investigate ideas rather than ditch them in a knee jerk reaction, unexplored.

Mayim Bialik is a huge proponent of anti-scientific non-sense.

She was a spoke-person for the "Holistic Mom's Network", which is entirely pseudosciecne, anti-science woo drivel. She has written a book endorsing the anti-vaccine position. She even believes in homeopathy for Christs sake.

She is not a champion of science, as this make out; she is a great detractor of it.

Really inspiring. I am not into science but I do juggle being an artist, dancer and my love of Psychology/mental health care. People have judged me and have tried to make me focus on one career path but Mayim shows the world that you can achieve anything you want and also fuse your passions together.
