Equity futures are pointing higher this morning with the Dow Jones Industrial Average looking to open 5 points higher while the broader S&P500 index is looking to open less than a point higher. Moving fast in the pre-market session are shares of Terremark Worldwide up 36% after Verizon Communications said it would buy the company for $1.4 billion; SAVVIS up over 16% on news of Verizon's buyout of Terremark Worldwide; and Riverbed Technology up 6% following its Q4 results. Shares of Arch Coal are down 5% after issuing weaker-than-expected guidance; shares of Ford are down 6% after missing Q4 EPS estimates; shares of Monster Worldwide are down 7% following weak Q4 revenue results; shares of Amazon.com are down over 7% on margin concerns following its Q4 results; shares of PMC -- Sierra are down over 12% on weaker Q4 profit due to higher charges; and shares of Infinera are down over 15% after its Q4 results were lackluster.
