2) 3 million in Widener
3) Harry Elkins Widener, not George
4) Bridge has been gone for years
5) Ice-cream at every meal
6) Swim test was a rumor, not actually a stipulation; the swim test was started around 1920
7) swim-test was canceled in the 60s
8) there are only two pools

wow. I am going on a school rtip to Boston tomorrow and I really hope to see that library when my group stops at Harvard. I love the Titanic and would love to see that library. But I always thought it was named after the Widener's son, Harry who also died on the Titanic along with his father, but I may be wrong.
