Okay this is just pathetic! LOL!

@1993Warbirds It's not really pro-this or anti-that, it's all a matter of tech levels, To put it into perspective, Federation vs Empire is like Ancient Egypt vs Modern USA. Chariot vs Tank, Trireme vs Aircraft Carrier. It's the same difference. A Type 2 Civilization cannot contend with a Type 3 on the Kardachev scale.

Granted that doesn't take into account Hyperdrive jump fuel consumption, but given the sheer power of Imperial ECM (which distorts space/time) It should be possible to modify their normal ECM fields to create a rather powerful Warp Drive, which would give them reasonably fast FTL capability while still being able to conserve fuel. The Question is, What time period of Star Trek are we on?

@1993Warbirds Considering the massive power gap between Star Wars and Star Trek, and the fact that an ISD can go for hours on full tilt without needing to refuel, I'd say that Sidious could comfortably have his ship go down to 1% power or less and still be complete overkill for the entire Alpha Quadrant. That would give him a Month more or less, and he'd be able to wipe out the Entire Federation in far less.

@1993Warbirds I mean in terms of shelter from his fleet, The Federation don't exactly have much to offer.

Sidious wouldn't go after Luke unless he had enough ships and troops, with the supply lines etc to support them. Knowing how carefully and patiently he manipulated events for over a decade to gain power over the republic, It would be completely out of character for him to go in half cocked on some mad quest for revenge unless he had more than enough ships and men to do so.
Luke would have a far better chance of survival taking shelter deep in the Republic, if it still exists.
Otherwise he'd better close that wormhole immediately or he and the Aphrodite are doomed if they grant him asylum. I take it that this version assumes that "A long time ago" means Star Wars takes place in the 15th or 16th century? one of the reasons I prefer the Wormhole that goes through time as well as space is because it does not require any assumptions as to how long ago it is, much less how far away.

@Perion Actually, I set star wars about fifteen hundred years before the events of Star Trek: the next generation. So Luke is far older than Yoda, preserved by his knowledge of the Force. I'm writing a book based on this concept. By the way, Sidious didn't go in half cocked exactly. He had a much newer version of the star destroyer and a fleet behind him of dissenters of the New Republic

@1993Warbirds Only one Star Destroyer? or just one of the newer types, keep in mind that Imperial Class Star Destroyers are, in the grand scheme of things, simply that, Line Destroyers. To the Empire at large they are rather unremarkable vessels. Still with a good enough supply train even one Destroyer is more than a match for the entirety of Starfleet, I take it much of that fleet is also made up of more regular Star Destroyers and other support ships?

@Perion Yes. It is basically a much improved star destroyer. It looks sleeker, with better engines that could keep pace with the millenium falcon, and more powerful weapons. However, how well could even one of these new destroyers do if per say it was cut off from its supply lines in Federation Space?

@Perion i'm just suggesting that this wormhole only traversed space, not time. I know they can do both. I know hypothetical physics quite well. Plus, I haven't decided yet whether the wormhole collapses after Siddious's new star destroyer gets through after Luke and his follers. By the way, think about it. Luke has had fifteen hundred years to perfect the jedi art. I think he would be a match for Darth Siddious at this point

@Perion Why are you so against the Federation. You seem to think that there is absolutely no way to win for the United Federation of Planets.
