Ancient and Medieval views on how intelligence and morality correlate with race:

"The Ethiopians," wrote Herodotos, "are said to be the tallest and best-looking people in the world."

http://endingstereotypesforamerica.org/black_and_white_intelligence.html

"Visiting the Tigre in Ethiopia in 1893, Bent wrote in admiration, "all the surrounding hills have been terraced for cultivation...Nowhere in Greece or Asia Minor have I seen such an enormous extent of terraced mountains as in this Abyssinian valley. Hundreds of thousands of acres must have been under the most careful cultivation, right up almost to the top of the mountains."

"go to Abyssinian (Ethiopia), you will find a king under whom none are persecuted. It is a land of righteousness where God will give you relief from what you are suffering."
-Prophet Mohamed

"the Nigerian town of Kano, "a whole family may live in that country with ease, including every expense, even that of clothing." All too familiar with the terrible conditions of the Victorian sweatshops in Europe, Barth wrote: "If we consider that this industry (textile manufacturing) is not carried on here as in Europe, in immense establishment degrading man to the meanest condition of life, but that it gives employment and support to families without compelling them to sacrifice their domestic habits, we must presume that Kano ought to be one of the happiest countries in the world; and so it is so long as its governor, too often lazy and indolent, is able to defend its inhabitants from the cupidity of their neighbors, which of course is certainly stimulated by the very wealth of this country."
-Heinrich Barth, 19th century

The "Ethiopians" (literally meaning Negroes) According to Diodorus Siculus:

"it is generally held that the sacrifices practiced among the Ethiopians are those which are the most pleasing to heaven. As witness to this they call upon the poet who is perhaps the oldest and certainly the most venerated among the Greeks; for in the Iliad he represents both Zeus and the rest of the gods with him as absent on a visit to Ethiopia to share in the sacrifices and the banquet which were given annually by the Ethiopians for all the gods together:

For Zeus had yesterday to Ocean's bounds
Set forth to feast with Ethiopia's faultless men,
And he was followed there by all the gods

I've been typing things in search engines trying to find this full quote and finally found it in google books

"The Ethiopians," (Literally meaning the sub-Saharan Africans) says Lucian, page 985, "were the first who invented the science of the stars, and gave names to the planets, not at random and without meaning, but descriptive of the qualities which they conceived them to possess; and it was from them that this art passed, still in an imperfect state, to the Egyptians."
-Lucian is a 2nd century Greek historian, probably not credible lol

  • @AUSTRIABOUND71 Anyone who is astonished by the number of blacks in prison, majority for non- violent offenses, is therefore a naive fool believing whatever numbers pop up in their google search to further their own racist agenda.

  • @AUSTRIABOUND71 On another day, I was with a group of blacks. There'd been a fight. The police show up and come straight to my group interrogating everyone even though we'd stated multiple times that we'd just arrived. Now I'm going to go out on a limb here and say these scenarios play out all over this country on a daily basis. Anyone who is astonished by the number of blacks in prison, majority for non- violent offenses, is therefore a naive fool believing whatever numbers pop up in their go

  • @AUSTRIABOUND71 Actually I have a few friends that work in corrections and outside of major cities, the prisons are primarily white. Also, people of color are not treated equally by the police so of course there'd be a disproportionate amount in prison. I've witnessed this in person on many occasions. I was with a group of whites, the police pull up, run everyone's IDs, found warrants for a few of them and all they had to say was go get that taken care of at the courthouse. On another day, I wa

  • wtf is wrong with this guy's speech?

  • Ethiopians weren't slaves of Greeks. That was the modern Russians, Germans, and Norweigans. They called them Slavs, which means slaves. Slavic language is spoken throughout eastern Europe. Plus, the ancient Greeks called Ethiopians Athiops, which only meant "the ethiopian" or "the man with dark skin". Even Ethiopians had a name for Greeks, but it didn't necessarily mean slaves.

  • If you think Ancient Greeks are black watch this video you Aithiops

    watch?v=K3KYRTrkeJ0

  • @TAKEMARU666 "Ethiopians were generally slaves in Greece?" Wow! What history books are you reading? Anyone who knows anything of history knows that Nordics and Slavs were the predominant slave class in Ancient Rome, in fact we derive the word slave from Slav, a fact that I am sure you are well aware of.

    Cheers

  • I couldn't understand a word u said.. You should speak more clearly and speak up. :)

  • @TAKEMARU666 those epic stories didnt pop up out of nowhere the are the result of the past and the peoples of the past

  • @TAKEMARU666 Nordics were also normally slaves in Greece, despite the amount of Ethiopian slaves in Greece there was never a time when Ethiopian =slave, and not tanned people, tanned people would mean people who were pale and then tanned when in fact he meant people who were born in with that complexion, the greeks like most ancients believed themselves to be preeminant however they spoke highly of the Ethiopians
