Time-lapse of Coos Bay, Oregon on March 11, 2011 showing the Japanese tsunami waves as they reach the southern Oregon coast. This time-lapse was recorded in 800 x448 resolution at 30fps and can be seen in full resolution using Windows Media Player at www.CoosBayWebCam.com. The islands you see in the bay usually get covered up twice a day with the high and low tide cycles. The tsunami surges shown here cover up and reveal the islands about 15 times. How many times can you count?

  • People stood waiting to see a wall of water - If they would have had patients - they would have seen 15 high and low tide actions - not one big wave
