This is a fan made trailer of the film Watchmen based on the graphic novel of the same name - the music comes directly from the film's soundtrack. I highly recommend purchasing this film, and it's soundtrack; personally I found both phenominal. I hope you like this tribute :)

It seems to have ended up focusing on John (Dr Manhatten), and his relationship with those closest to him; this wasn't a specific intention, but rather a result from the fact he's my favourite character. Please comment and rate! Thanks!

  • Whoever sang this version completely missed the point

  • @lerriano Whys that? I think the point is subjective and personal to begin with, but regardless I think its a good thing different artists reinterpret songs in their own way. I dont think that just because you didnt like this version, doesnt mean it didnt reach out to someone else. Thats just my opinion tho :)

  • You've missed the point of the song too.

It's not an angry song, they sound sort of pissed off throughout.

And a guitar solo ffs. This song has so much meaning, and these idiots have pissed all over every part of it.

  • Whether you tell me what you want me to believe the point of the song is or not, I still enjoy it and apparently so do others :) Although, thank you for your opinion.

  • Good editting. Good choice of shots -- it never feels like I'm waiting to see something, nor is anything cut too short. Also even though the high volume distorts the music, it's much beter than most videos which are barely audible in the name of HD quality.

  • Thanks for the feedback - the only bit I'm unhappy with I think is 2:24-2:26, I think a new shot could have been better incorporated there, but it's all a learning experience.

  • I personally like the original version better but I still think this is a pretty kick ass cover its really dark but hey, darkness is my old friend and I don't necessarily think it was over dramatized but the half time was a little overboard for me but anyone who loves this kind of music is gonna love this song the band did an excellent job transferring genres even though the original was exponentially better. Oh and very nice job with the video. I thought it was made by Hollywood till I read th

  • Love this song and film :)

  • Como?????

  • I hate this fucking movie so much. Fuck of Zack Snyder and all the other members who played in this "movie". Did you ever read the comic? Do you know what "reading" is? This version of the song is bad as hell, like the movie. I can't understand why guys think that's good. Piss off, Hollywood! Sorry for my bad english!

  • @lerriano music i means different things to different people. I don't think it is better than the original either, it could have been better if the stuck to the first 30 seconds and eliminated the keyboard licks. But this song isn't angry, and the guitars add a dark tone, though the keyboards makes it sound to uplifting. But it's a cover, and they did it their own way. Do you want covers to sound just like the original? I personally think this song could sound better, but hey, it's their cover.

  • @thewizardofqz

But the original is already dramatic. That was the point of it. This is just overdone and silly. Trying to take a song as good as this one and switching its genre makes the words meaningless, as if it's all for it's own sake. Or even worse, as a filler cover for an album or a moneymaking rip-off single for a band who are clearly not S&G, but want to steal some of that limelight. And frankly I can only think of a 2 cover songs that missed the point more.

  • @lerriano it's not about anger... The guitars give it a more dramatic feel. It has a dark tone to it.

  • with 3 beer this is the rain in my eays

  • David Gilmour once said that if everyone interpreted a song he'd written the same way, then he had failed...

I think this version is awesome in it's own right. Only idiots would try to compare it to the original, and then whine about how bad it is...

  • @lerriano I agree,S&G`s original rocks
