sorry this has just taken so long, but my life is pretty crazy at the mo.

little recap: joe and indie broke up, two months on, joe is dating camilla and extremley jealous while indie has a date with david henrie who she met at a disney party. and there was also a sleepover at indie's.

I woke up the next morning inbetween two of my best friends; Nick and Demi. It was a complete mess in my apartment and sleeping on the floor wasn't exactly doing wonders to my back. From the looks of it, I was the first up. Nick was sprawled across his blow-up matress, hair all over the place; Demi was curled up sideways on hers and Kevin and Eva were in eachothers arms on the couch. I carefully got up and stumbled my way over to the kitchen, picking up some empty cans and pizza boxes on my way. I threw them away and started on making some breakfast for my sleeping guests. Pancakes seemed like the obvious choice. I heard a whispering behind me.
'Indie.. Is that you up?' Nick whispered.
'Oh you're awake.' I smiled. 'Wanna help me make breakfast?'
'Sure.' he said and got up.
He walked over and stood next to me.
'So, what are we making?' he said with a smile.
'Pancakes!'
'Yes!' Nick exclaimed.
He gave me a little side hug before going over to the fridge and taking out ingredients.

-Nick's POV.

I took out some milk and eggs and set them down on the counter. I watched Indie as she picked up her phone and read it with a goofy smile. She was texting back with the same smile. Please let it be her Dad. I crept up to her and grabbed it from her hands. She started shouting at me while she giggled and tried to get her phone back.
'Nick! Give my phone back!' she yelled.
I held it away from her and read it; the text was from David.
'David eh?' I smiled.
'Nick. Please.' she said as she jumped the try and reach it.
It was funny watching her try so hard. At one point she had her arms unintentionally around my neck, I stopped and looked at her. She calmed and looked at me too. For a split second, I swear I was going to kiss her, but nerves got the better of me. Her cheeks turned pink and her arms lowered from their position around my neck.
'Um, phone Nick.' she said.
'Oh, uh. Here.' I stuttered and returned her phone. 'So, uh.. where are you going with David?'
'Uh, I think he said Koi.' she said, not looking at me.
'Oh, cool.' I looked away and she walked to her room.
Way to go Nick.
