...Of course, I have never said anything less.
do I think there is a hierarchy of destructiveness in religion with monotheistic beliefs at the top and more general philosophical practices at the bottom, for sure, but I generally think that you can achieve the same aims without the need to join a club where your signing up to a group mentality!.
And more importantly, I think that these beliefs are just plain wrong!.

Hi mike, thanks as always, I kinda knew pretty much what you where going to say before you said it, that is not an insult in any way, I just knew where this was going.
again, I don't want to reveal too much of my hand at this stage, but the next video will be very interesting lol.
Just one point though, my problem isn't just with fundamentalism, it IS with 'religion'.
Do I consider moderates to be allies, of course, I also have q lot more time fro religions that are more like philosophies...

As always Mike, excellent, succinct, accurate, balanced and courteous. Make more vids and bring back Sludgeworth!!! :)

Hey, I'm researching it!

Not just a valid point but, a pivotal point in any agreement to engage in religious discussion.
It would be like picketing outside a beer store with a sign that says "Beer is evil" just because you bought a six pack of Gomer's pumpkin mash pilsner, and it gave you the runs for three days.

Well put

*chuckle* when I heard mike say that, I immediately thoought about you 2b, and wonderd what you'd think of that :-)

Great comment to a balanced video...It's great to see some balance on YT.
Being female is a factor in doubting evolution??? Interesting.
As always, a very thoughtful vid. Religion was and continues to be a positive force in our society and the world. Religious fundamentalism and extremism was and continues to be a negative force in our society and the world. Drawing the distinctions between the two is, therefore, is of utmost importance.

Thanks, Randy. I like the way you worded this. 95% of my videos have struggled to say this very thing, but have not been as eloquent and succinct.
