@1manmafia so where is the evidance?
-
@religdeb The Qur'an is best read in Arabic to fully comprehend it, but the primary message of Islam is easy to understand, especially if you have someone to help teach you. Translations are checked for accuracy and read many times, even by Arabic speakers. I don't know why you would think the writers couldn't do their job. God does know because he is omnipotent, but we still have to make our own choices. I don't think the vast majority will go to hellfire; God is the most merciful, after all.

@1manmafia you missed the point, you said evidance is in the quran yet that evidance can only be seen if they know arabic otherwise they are trusting what the other people tell you the quran says, god knows where each person will end up before he makes them, think about all the kuffar etc, god knows the vast majority of creation will end up in hellfire yet he still creates them despite creation is meant to be for our benefit? :S

@religdeb If most Muslims can read (which they can), then they can read the Qur'an, which is translated in many different dialects. God creates people with free will, and with that free will, some will unfortunately make bad choices. God knows that some will go to hellfire, but he does not create anyone just so he can throw them in hell. That is why he leaves us instructions and guidance for us to follow. We must make the right decisions to better ourselves and those around us.

@1manmafia in the quran? most muslims can't even read the quran? and you say it is not a faith based religion? reason???? why would an all-loving god create people who he knows will go to hellfire? insanse.

@religdeb The evidence is in the Qur'an. You have to make it your own effort and your decision to understand it. I have studied many religions, and all of them had some truth to them. Islam is the final and perfect truth by God; it has always existed and its message can never be changed. I did not reach my conclusion through faith alone but also by reasoning. God has no partner or equal, and it is our duty to follow his guidance with kindness, humility, love, and respect. That is Islam.

@1manmafia to have rational complete conviction you must have some observable evidance that the religion is true, any "proof" of islam is very dubious and surrounded in critisism and debate, if God wants you to give your life to a religion, is it too much to ask for some solid evidance?

@religdeb Study is key. With any doubt there is always an answer if you search hard enough for it.

@1manmafia yea sory i should of said, how can you have a complete certainty in a relifgion that does not have complete certainty, there are core principales that pretty much all muslims agree on but still? how do you have complete conviction?
islam is a complete faith based religion, you are so certain of your faith? why? have you mastered understanding classic ancient arabic? even educated islamic scholars dont agree with eachother over meanings of the quran yet you are still utterly convinced of its divine origin?
pure faith

@religdeb Our Faith/Belief rests in The existence of a single Creator/Legislator & The Messengership/Finality of Muhammad (saw) as His Prophet. NOT in the different interpretations (Tafasir) of certain Qur'anic verses. In actually only a few of them are open to interpretation (Adillah Dhaniyyah).
Your lack of understanding & the failure of Muslims to explain it to you is no excuse to think you know what you are talking about. BTW: What is ancient Arabic. Lol!

@dawahworks you didn't awsner the question about being why you are so certain, look at all the schools of thought and sects of islam, tell me, if the message is so clear why is their so many groups, interpretations, why are their islamic scholars?, can't people just read the message for themselvs? do you admit you take your faith from what other people tell you then? when i say ancient arabic i mean the arabic before all the grammar was added, in it's ancient form it was first written in.

@religdeb You start with vast misconceptions & misunderstandings then you make definitive statements. Approach the issue as a student then move forward.

@dawahworks oh my apologies, every muslim agrees on all aspects of islam, all islamic scholars are in agreement, the english translations all say the same thing, everyone can read the message even if they dont speak arabic 8-) my mis-understanding 8-)
religdeb 1 month ago
@religdeb Again... you have no foundational basic understanding of anything you speak of. lets take matters issue by issue. Not all @ once. Where do you want to start?
