  • hmmm... good point. Often when the Monitor is steering we don't sit behind the wheel, instead we sit under the dodger and look at the compass backwards, keeping that number in mind to check our course. Thanks for checking up on me!

  • Deltaville is SW of Onancock. If he's sailing 44 degrees magnetic, he'll never get there.

  • We did a beat for four days from Charleston all the way down to Ft. Pierce FL on our way south... I would agree with you - stay away from the upwind as much as possible! Scopalomine was our friend for that trip.

  • The reciprocal course would be 224, which would be about right. We used to live near Onancock, and now our boat is at Deltaville. And, there's a Rasmus at Deltaville we want to look over . . .
