thanks for this video series! very informative for a noob. Do you think you could do a vid with maybe a resister, diode, pot, led, and battery so we could see how they all fit together?

@kellerj0 Yes, I have some ideas in mind, I hope to get them out to you soon! I will do a building a power supply from scratch next, it will have the essentials, transformer, diode, resistor, and capacitor. Easy and cool stuff.

I don know anything about electronics andI have questions what if you hold it backwards does it say which side is right/left

ex: It takes the voltage or whatever and it goes slower but in the meaning of from 5w to 2.5 like that

So it slows whatever passes through it

does it heat up or melt if you were to put say 2 or 3 of those battery packs through the resistor for that little led?
