Alvis Leonides Mk 127:
It's an 11,78 lit. 550 hp. 9 cylinder Star engine with a cut down propeller mounted on a trailer.
At 1:39 its at takeoff speed, before that its warm-up and taxi on runway.
Filmed under bad weather conditions and with soundlevels overwhelming the microphone.
@racertwo It's not mine but if memory serves this prop is a one of a kind for now, made especially for this installation.
I may be able to contact the owner for you and see what can be done.
And to those who only seen these engines in the cartoons I can tell you that the original prop would never turn with the engine on that trolley because the three (originally metal) blades is some 8 or so feet across.

Hi, great to see another Leonides running, I have now sold mine which is on here several times, I am interested in your 4 blade prop for my next engine, do you have another ?
