Hydroboat Onboard Racing ( Cal-Ore ) Boatnik 2011

Climb aboard #44 during an actual race that was held during the annual Tom Rice Memorial Day Weekend hyroplane race. These boats have some serious speeds along with side by side racing. The fast boats go head to head at the mass start of the green flag. The drivers must navigate through shoots with rocks and underwater hazards. They also catch a few rooster tails in the face throughout the racing course too along with jumping each other wakes. Powered by a mercury outboard engine the guys run on most hydros a dual blade prop sharpened to perfection. Cal-Ore hydroplane river racing at its best...So... "Get in Shut up and Hold on!"
