  • Hey Dave, I have a Machlett tube. It's 11" tall X 6" in diameter..roughly with four heavy pins (0.5" diameter) and at the other end a large copper cap. It reads: JAN-CAGD-880. I have had it for about 20 years. Do you have any idea what it was use for? I'm thinking it was a rectifier.

  • Tubes are almost gone but not forgotten.

  • Excellent tube and setup, keep a fan on it!

  • Nice basement. Always a good place to enjoy one's hobbies and interests, and makes movies with friends. Cheers!
