  • Anyone knows who wrote this? Never heard this with Trowers band, but it was on BLT:s only LP, wasn´t it?

  • This needs to be in all of his concerts. Mandatory !!

  • the guys don't modulate once during the song - there's a reason peope refer to blues "progressions", they go somewhere - nice groove tho

  • always prefer j dewar to bruce no contest for me

  • thanks slinger---this sounds like NO ISLAND LOST on the blt lp 1981/

if i get things figured out, i'll load stuff from the st louis 1980 show via radio...

  • Jimmy's the man, my favorite blues rock singer. As well, my favorite line up for the Robin Trower group: Jim, Robin and Bill.

  • Thanks for posting. What a groove!

  • Very different version of the song that landed on BLT with Jack Bruce singing. Real soulful bluesy groove to this one!

Watch for Robin coming to the USA in September 2009!

  • Nice TS! It's cool to hear some of "the Harum Scarum" tunes posted! This arrangement is 'bluesier' than the BLT version, lovem' both. Hearing the early version of this reminds me of "Another Day Another Night" which seems to be an early variant of "Day of the Eagle."

Thanks for sharing the Trower & Dewar posts TS! They are food for the soul.

  • No Island Lost from BLT. I think I would like to hear Dewar/Trower perform it like Trower/Bruce did on BLT, edgier and more crunchy. To late now. Thanks for the post!!!
