After Effects, Photoshop & 3ds Max Matte Painting

Here's a matte painting of a cloud city that started out in photoshop, then brought into after effects. Used 3ds Max for the ship to give it a bit more life.

Yeah a good system definitely helps and saves you time with rendering.

Actually I like it, but is there a way to add motion blur to the ship, and maybe add some moving clouds at the city base? I just feel that might add more to it.

I'm still getting my feet wet with the 3d stuff, hopefully I can get better with it, i know it can really do a lot for a scene. Yeah I see what you mean about the clouds.

please don't take this the wrong way but I really don't like the ship. the movement & model is ok and all (besides how it disapears at the end) but I feel it takes away a bit too much from your great composition. Perphaps it'll fit better if it just flies by in the far background.
