  • Wow, you two are perfect examples of people who don't listen or pay attention. He SAID that it was ORIGINALLY a Greek city, but that it came under Roman rule during the reign of the Roman Empire. Open your ears and check your history.

  • Ephesus was built before the gayreeks,Cryas were dominant in that area and than Gayreek people conquired the city after the Peloponnesia war.

    dont forget it.

At the moment western historians or tvs always make manipulation about anatolian history. There are a lot of ancient city and they were built before Gayreeks.

Anatolia has many civilisation unfortunately, you dont want to understand

    reality hurts huh?

  • @yklocnykl well they sure as hell weren't Turkish.there wasn't any city called Ephesus before that.Greeks founded and created the city.Romans later in history conquered it.there is a difference in who creates a city and who conquers it. I'm not saying people weren't living their but it wasn't Ephesus.stop being full of hatred and nationalist. What remains now in Ephesus and what you get to show to your tourists are Greek ruins so respect that and stop showing you immaturity level in youtube.

  • Ephesus: The temple of artemis.

Ephesus: one of the first christian churches was founded here by disciples leaving judea shortly after Jesus' life here on earth. Mary is reported to have left Judea with disciples to Ephesus.

Many villas are as well preserved as those of pompei. Harbour road was famous for its night time illumination.

The plumbing and water infrastructure of ancient ephesus is still more advanced than most modern cities.

Only 6% of ancient ephesus has been excavated.

  • I believe only 6% of the city has been excavated.

  • Fking gayreeks worry about ur fking economy. You conquered asia minor too, we did what alexander the great failed to do. An Empire that stretched from all three continents.

  • @MrAugustus88

don't confuse Turkish or Ottoman troops with the other nation's troops u c-sucker.I'm sure your troops are not honoroble like them. Read the history of the world independently not the history of your nation. Simply there are a lot of churches in Turkey;however is there any mosque in every country u fucker? think again with your little brain.

  • Shame this ancient Greek city is now illegally held by Turk Mongol fashist troops. Tousrist money helps support the Turkish troops. Who else will they kill, murder and rape now ?

  • OMG!! The bathroom in that gym!! :O
