i have both of them and the abridged PSP collection (a.k.a. Taito Legends Powered Up), and they have their own individual qualities such as the first TL having most of it's rail shooters along with Space Invaders 1 and 2

There are some good titles on the collection, but there are also a lot of odd additions. It still blows my mind that not one single Darius title made it. If you're deciding on whether to pick Legends 1 or 2 (the 2nd only being on the PS2), then I'd go with Taito Legends 2. It has a more sensible selection of games.
