  • i have been having problems with my tv as well. i have taken all of the screws out and everything but the stupid thing still wont come apart. do you have any idea of what i should do to be able to take the back cover off?

  • Maybe try googling: how to remove cover (make/model). If you can't find anything, try carefully putting a small flat head screw driver in between the two halves, and go around the tv. one side is probably "hooked" onto the other side.

  • Nice teardown. i've always wanted to see the inside of these things. I have a 19 inch Sansui LCD TV with a DVD player built-in.

  • Thanks... yeah, this TV is still working great.

  • The entire TV is working great now! The only things I did, was take the circuit board off that has the buttons for the volume, channel change, etc... sorta played with the buttons, and then straightened up the coaxial port (it was bent, as if the tv fell and the cable was still plugged in).

  • Did you get your automated volume issue fixed on that TV? Just curios to what it was.
