An almost perfect arcade conversion.

This game has no ending, it just loops over and over again. So, eventually I kill myself. Only thing that happens when it loops is that it gets harder, I think... and maybe some new stuff appears... like more of those towers to shoot down.

  • Yeah, yeah. The Atari ST was the poor man's Amiga. You know it, I know it.

The one big problem with this game was that to get past the first level, you basically had to "lose", i.e. allow the probot messages to escape upwards. If you were really good at that level you'd basically be "stuck" on it for hours.

  • Oh, and the other thing was that by simply holding the mouse/stick into a corner in the asteroid field level, you'd avoid everything - as demonstrated here.

So, overall, I, err, guess it was a pretty stupid game.

  • wtf!?

  • This one does a lot better than the "Star Wars" arcade conversion. But the music is still crappy, especially the asteroid field.

  • you tell em m8

  • this game was cool so shut it u little know fukall twats

  • So... Hoth has stars and no atmosphere? lol

  • There is no Death Star in The empire strikes back and this was not crap at all back then stupid kid !

  • Oh, ok, didn't know that. At least the music seems to be slightly better (when it comes to the sounds). ^^

They should have released some other better Star Wars games for Amiga, handled by good programmers...ah well, it's all history now.
