one sad thing is the grips will always rotate and putting them back into there normal position is pointless

Yes That's what I hate about the satellite grips too even soapy water or hairspray wouldn't keep it still.. I ended up switching them out for Oury Grips black.

@MidwoodBrooklyn Hi, incase you haven't decided yet.. I have some info.

The Trek is about $50-100 cheaper than the Sirrus. The Trek's components are of better quality, but the Sirrus comes with a carbon fiber fork. The Trek comes with an ergonomic grip while the Sirrus has standard grips with barends. I own the Trek 7.3 FX and I love it, but if someone stole my Trek and replaced it with the Sirrus, I wouldn't mind at all.

@mosesposes77 See chapter 3, page 26 of the user manual, it covers how to reverse this to normal.

Regarding mt69298's comment about "learning to brake with both hands", this doesn't really apply because you'll always be braking differently with front and rear brakes on any bike, especially off road or when cornering on the road when jabbing on the front brake will low side you instantly!
