If it were true that Fed presidents were swayed to lower rates when the President wanted, neither Carter nor Bush Sr. would have lost- both men were ousted because the Fed needed to raise rates to head off inflation. The Fed operates independently because it needs to make politically unpopular decisions.

Most viewers of this video probably do not realize that Dr. Ron Paul--or some member of his immediate family--are in grave danger. You don't defy the Goldman Sackers of this world and get away with it for long. Just for the record: When accident strikes this honest and intelligent lover of liberty or his family, we'll disregard the official version and know, and remember, who the real killers were.
