The Science Junkies In "SportsLab" on Kix TV

With the success of the 'Science Junkie: Extreme Sports' Live Show Greg & Huw got chatting about other ways they could bring alive the science of sport & adventure.

When a TV channel came up to us after a show and asked if we fancied making a series based on the show we jumped at the chance. The channel was Kix TV - a digital and online channel whose core audience is 8 - 12 year old boys who broadcasts a lot of extreme sports content alongside cartoons and aquired programming.

With our experience in producing and directing TV shows, the Science Junkies wrote, produced and directed the series of 6 short films. To make the project work for the budget we pulled in favours from some of the top directors and editors we've worked with, plus invited along our extreme sports mates to come join in (see below!). We're really please with the result. The mini-series shows that there are some really fun ways to bring alive the science of sport & adventure for TV and we look forward to the opportunity to expand these mini episodes into something bigger.
