Code Geass All That I'm Living For

First off, Code Geass spoilers for the entire first season.

Ok. So this really is my last video for the summer. I kinda rushed to put it together as you might be able to see.

I know I said this was going to be a Death Note AMV, but it didn't work out cuz my computer was having problems and wasn't cooperating well with the codecs I had to install to see the episode files.

I know that there's more to add, but I can't think of it right now...

So anyway, hope you enjoy because it's the last video you'll see from me for a while because school (and my school in particular) is evil.

Thank you for your comment! Almost makes me want to try attempt doing AMVs again, since I've been lazy as of late.

Raws are video files of episodes without the subtitles at the bottom.

While I'd like to learn certain effects like split screen and others like it, I was working with Windows Movie Maker, which doesn't exactly offer the most impressive of effects unless multicolors is your thing (which is one of my pet peeves in all honestly).

@XtoxicXcookieXdoughX Thanks! Yeah, I was working with Windows Movie Maker, which doesn't exactly have the most effects to offer. I was really inspired by this one Naruto AMV maker whose name escapes me and whose account got deleted a while ago (Rubix something or other--goodness my Naruto obsession must've been YEARS ago) who really used the music with the clips to make a point as opposed to using effects for the sake of effects, which is how this video came to be.

THis is a great vid. But to me, maybe it be alot cooler if it would be for Lelouch, Suzaku, And C2? I mean they all have have something to live for. Lelouch 4 Nunnally. C2 4 death. Suzaku 4 Euphy's avengence. All connected to Zero. Wow what ironary.

yeah I guess that's true. It's just that there's more much material that you can incorporate with Lelouch, even moreso with R2 (how I wish I could get my hands on some R2 raws!!) that it felt right to dedicate the whole song to just him.

Code Geass is about a guy named Lelouch who gets 'Geass', which allows him to compel anyone to do whatever he wishes. Since this guy hates the tyranical government system, he uses his power to change the world. Sounds cheesy but OH MY GOD, the storyline is unique and amazing. The characters are realistic and this is the ONLY show I've ever watched that made me cry. Besides maybe Death Note....

I don't even like mech anime but all other elements of Code Geass let me ignore that.

nicely done and i'm so glad u used an Evanescence song. not many people do, at least not that I've seen anyways. I like how you try to tell the song's meaning with the images. Most people don't seem to even bother, that I've seen. They just go for flashy scenes mixed with some that mean something. The story you tell rings true, and I heartily approve.
