The Imperfect but Okay Movie that was Infinitely Better Than that Last Peice of Crap I Watched

This movie didn't make me want to shoot myself in the head like the last one did. The actors were actually believable and the atheists weren't necessarily assholes (but maybe short tempered).

That being said the "debate" between the main character and Jesus may have gone to Jesus, but it's really easy to win a debate when you get to write what your opponent says.

What do people who have already been converted need these low budget movies for?

I agree what you said before about those videos really only existing for the purpose of solidifying a Christian's beliefs.

@HonestDiscussioner well every time someone accepts Jesus as his or her savior heavens rejoice. i hope that someday you will get you questions answered. hopefully by God Jesus HIMSELF. and i hope it won't be too late. just remember that God will take people as they are because He cares about who they WILL be when they are with Him - not who they were before. God loves you. and He wants you to be happy. just make one step to Him and He will come closer to you even more. it was nice knowing you.

Okay, then what of the Native Americans who lived for millenia without any ability to know Jesus? What about the people who lived in Asia the day after Jesus supposedly rose? Where was their chance? People continued to die and living long lives, and with the power of god he could have easily prevented anyone else from dying long enough to send emissaries to each village. Christians didn't even know for millenia there was an entire CONTINENT of people ignorant of Jesus.

And why not compare god to a beggar, Jesus himself lived as modestly as he could, did he not?

@heyburik10 We probably will all die someday. That doesn't mean we have to go to heaven or hell. I think we merely stop existing. You speak of faith, but what if I had faith in Islam? Or Hindu? What would be your argument that I should follow Christianity? None could convince me, because I would have faith and anything you point out would be meaningless. Allah didnt mean for me to understand, I just have to follow the profit. You wouldnt accept that, yet you expect me to accept the same from you

There is nothing that we have to accept, and if the evidence points AWAY from a belief then it is no longer faith. I cannot have faith that the diamonds are softer than paper, for we can see that they aren't. We can't have faith that the universe is only 10,000 years old, we can see light from billions of light years away. If I cannot understand this religion, why I am expected to believe in it?
