Dead Space MP is retarded, the very idea is retarded. I mean it's horror game, and you're playing with other people, against other people? I think Ghost+ninja sneaking behind you is scarier...

@TheVGamer I didn't have high expectations for the multiplayer, but the action is just so intense. Maps are well done. Rank system is well done. I came away very impressed. I'm enjoying the gameplay, and will continue to do so, until it gets stale.

from what you said, i think it might be a problem i mean ranking up increases dmg output and speed?

thats just going to put off a lot of newcomers.

personally i'll check out more MP reviews before buying and get more info on the ranking up system.

@Qjemuse Think of it though, every game does this now. Play more, get better equipment, guns, etc. Battlefield did that, Black Ops does that. So the rank up system is pretty much standard fare compared to other shooters on the market.

So its 4v4 am I right? or are there other NPC on the necro side? if not then I dont see the "survival horror" aspect in it. hope Im incorrect though

@Agnuko Ammo and health becomes very scarce online, which is one of the biggest aspects to a survival horror game. Plus, the necromorphs have a spawn delay, but it's not a long one, which makes the game constantly hard to survive. To me, the online definitely mirrors that of action horror.

Its hard to begin with and when you learn the mp its kinda easy if you are with kinda good players. I am at lvl 38 a.t.m moment i having loads of fun playing it :)

@Agnuko i havent played but my friend does and he said when your a necro and you spawn there is 1 to 2 other npc's that spawn with you.

the only thing i dont like about MP is the stasis whoring, i rarely ever use stasis and usually have 20-1 how ever ppl in mp seem to whore the stasis by stasis any necro they see. also the necromorphs have way to many campers, i usually get around 11 kills playing as the puker (if the enemy team isnt stasis whoring) without camping. the only thing that truly matters is the team thats camping or stasis whoring.

@TheVGamer The idea isn't "retarded". It's actually genius. They're making multiplayer for a horror game, something people haven't done before. And is THAT supposed to be scary? No, but it's great action and can sometimes scare the piss out of you when you get ambushed.

to be honest i like the multiplayer of ds2 because its coinstent action , dosnt boring to me due to how there is plenty to unlock on multiplayer and the map dont get boring either , very on edge

@TheVGamer A horror game can be be more than just scary. Multiplayer might not be scary but it is intense and quickpaced.
