Big Swell Palm Beach

About once every ten years a massive swell will grace the Sydney coastline. Huge waves were seen rolling down Pittwater towards the Basin. The wave buoys peaked at 7.2 metres. Massive swell like this isn't seen in Sydney that often but when it does majic happens. Tom Carroll and Barton Lynch feature in this video doing Tow-in surfing at North Palm Beach otherwise known as "The Joey". The audio is taken from the opening scene of the feature film Big Wednesday.
