Here is another great explosive exerscise that you can do on a standard pull-up bar. Ok, form: This is tricky to learn, before you actually even try to do this one, learn proper high-rep pull ups first. What I mean by that is once you can do 20-rep pull-ups then you'd have that explosiveness endurance in your back/arms, then this one will be a breeze for you.

You start off with either a wide grip pull up or a chin up/reverse grip wherever you wanna call it. And then with a single movement, with one pull, you body should explode up, hoisting you shoulder off the bar, and reversing the grip in that split second while your in mid-air.

Repeat.

Always remember strength is a skill, its not just the mere word as in "strength" think about, think of the form that you train and sweat on everyday to perfect, that is skill, muscle and bone coordinations comes last.

  • @SCREAMOpants Yeah that was before I fixed the roof door, and it December temperatures can go down to -12.

  • nice. next stpe it to do clapping pullups, ten clapping nad awitch pullups...

  • I should start doing those more.

    Manfred hoeberl does weighted pullups(200lb plates)and he is 330 with 26inch arms. I just dont do the exercise.
