It's really interesting to see what kind of music winter inspired back in the day. Nowadays, when you ask people to name you a song that brings up winter in their hearts, it comes down to "Jingle Bells" and "Tis The Season". =/

@MangekyouEyes "jingle bells" and others were not inspired by winter, but by xmas. But yeah, nowadays you say winter, and a lot of people think of xmas (like the ones who wrote all those songs...). I think vivaldi was solely inspired by the wonders of nature when he composed the four seasons, cuz he once lived in a cabin in the middle of nowhere, sorrounded only by nature or something like that... :P

@avrilfan2213 he lived in venice, italy. he was a priest (although he didnt want to be a priest but thats the only way to have free education) sometimes he paused a mass just to write down some scraps of music so he wont forget it.

and please dont substitute CHRIST in Christmas as X cause its his B-day during Christmas and he's the most important part of Christmas. but you have a great video thanks!!! :)

O-M-G!!! I had been looking for this song for YEARS!!! I heard it when I was booking a room for the Bellagio online, and hadn't been able to discover who the writer was. My mistake was listening to the Spring and Autumn version and skipping over the Winter version ... which was the only one I was looking for!!! Thank you for posting this!!! (^_^)
