I bought this refurbished/used macbook off ebay about a month ago. It's my first apple machine and all in all I have to say that I'm very impressed. I've been a PC user all my life but I've always been looking for something more reliable. Don't get me wrong, I still own a PC desktop for gaming purposes, but I really needed something small and portable for school.

Specs:
Model Name: MacBook
Screen Size: 13.3"
Processor Name: Intel Core Duo
Processor Speed: 1.83 GHz
Number Of Processors:1
Total Number Of Cores:2
L2 Cache: 2 MB
Memory: 1 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz

Thanks for watching!

  • Can you please tell me the ebay sellers username I am looking too buy the same thing on ebay thanks =)

  • @MissMegannxo The guy I bought it from was not a computer vendor, and was simply trying to sell his personal Mac. However if I might make a suggestion: laptopenterprise2 is a very highly rated Macbook vendor on eBay

  • sweet. I just bought one of these off ebay for a pretty nice price.

i got a mac mini as my first mac in early 2009 and I love it so much. I decided to stick with mac for my portable machine too.

How's the performance? I'm not expecting anything amazing, but I'm hoping it's still fast enough for some basic web design and graphic design

  • Well this is the old version here, but I love it. Haven't written any code on it yet, but I would but it could handle it, mostly I do video editing.

    Welcome to the club!

  • 2 questions:

    1) How did the battery life last you when you started using it?

    2) Was there any severe cosmetic damage (like dents, cracks...etc)?

    otherwise, great video

  • 1) The battery that it came with was DOA. I purchased a replacement online for $50, which has an average lifespan of 3 hours

    2) There was no significant damage to the computer, however there were a few minor scuff marks. Mostly these are on the top of the outer shell, also there are a few underneath, but none on the inside or screen. On a severity scale from 1 to 10 I'd maybe give them 2's, you have to look to notice them.

  • Great video - nice unboxing, I really can't wait to upgrade my MacBook for a pro! Check out my videos

  • bought one of these macbooks of a mate with the same specs and everything for £100

  • can i get some narraration....

  • Ima get a new MacBook on the 22nd... this march... OMG I CAN'T WAIT!

White MacBook has been the main mac that I wanted, for 3 years now, mainly because whenever I wanted instead another mac they got rid of it or changed it.. *looks up* I wanted to get a black macbook instead of the white, and 2 weeks later they replaced it with the unibody. *looks up the other way* I wanted a penryn MacBook Pro, 4 weeks later they replaced it with the unibodies, where white has always been perfect.

  • im gonna hopefully save up and get a black one
