Its sad that the tonight show now days only has one major star interview them for 20 min. the second person mabey a little less know interview them for 10 min. then have a music number with a band have them perfrom the last 5 min. of the show and they end the show. I miss the days of Johnny when they had major stars all throughout the show and all were on at the same time interacting like this clip.

After watching a number of these videos, I have started wondering if there was anything that Mel Blanc could not do. The man was a master of voice, acting, and music.

Hope that Carson Productions leaves this clip up! They removed a bunch of mine and got 2 of my channels suspended!!!!

I've always heard that Benny was unusually generous in sharing the spotlight with his large cast of actors. Here's a good example; while Jack does the talking here, he sets up Mel for all the laughs. Of course it was a symbiotic relationship. Jack benefited from the talents of the cast he assembled, and they benefited from his humor and genius as well.

@Jamescs007 Mel Blanc was doing Looney Tunes voices for more than 30 years before Carson started on The Tonight Show
These three comedic legends will never be forgotten!!
