May 7. - U.S. stocks tumbled nearly 2 percent on Wednesday as investors worried about the impact of $123 oil on consumers and businesses. The Dow fell 206 points to 12,814. The S&P 500 shed 25 points to 1,392. The Nasdaq dropped 44 points to 2,438. Crude oil settled at a record of $123.53 a barrel.
