Here is another of my videos about the coin (vended) laundry business. This is a store we put in 12-years ago in Midland, Texas. Midland is halfway between Dallas & El Paso.
Durring the video I mention the store is 10 years old but it's actually 12 years old.
Former President & Laura Bush are from Midland and the Midland/Odessa area is famous for its high school football teams.
This store is 4,600 sq/ft lease space improvement and has 46 Huebsch washers and 38 Huebsch dryer pockets. This is another example of how to do it right. This is one of the few stores where replacement equipment has been heed. The Huebsch equipment is built to last.
After 12 years of good business the owner has kept this store in very good condition and he is beating two other newer stores within 1 mile.

  • Really Andrew! That's the best you can come up with? The HUEBSCH Horizon washer are an affordable and energy efficient replacement for top load washers. Horizon washer use half the water as compared to top load washers. They extract at 300 g-force which reduces drying time and reduces gas or electric consumption. They are "green" eco friendly washers.

  • How much does one need for capital? I live in So.Cal.

  • @DarkFuryPunisher

The amount of capital will depend on the total cost of the entire project. The general rule is to be about 30% liquid going into the deal.

  • one last comment do you always use huebsch anyone use speedqueen or norge

  • We are Huebsch, Continental & Wascomat factory authorized representatives.

Huebsch and Speed Queen are both manufactured by Alliance Laundry Systems and come off the same assembly line. I dont believe Norge is made any more. The Norge top load washer had the biggest basket Ive ever seen. They claimed the washer had a 20-pound capacity. What a waste of water!

  • What's a 'greaser'?

  • In West Texas there are a lot of oil fields and oil field workers. Their work clothes are full of grease so the idea of designating "greasers" for those clothes came about. The other customers know to thoroughly check these washers if they need to use them and the oil field workers are very good about using the designated washers. This customer needed to designate 3-4 25 pound washers but no top load washers for Greasers. Some other West Texas and Oklahoma stores will assign some top loaders.
