A festival originated in the 16th century, when nomads and farmers offered yoghurt to monks ending their annual summer meditation retreat. Traditionally, it lasts from the first of the seventh month to the fifth of the seventh month in Tibetan calendar.

A Peter Lai Music Doco project, for sharing purpose. HDV version available for interested viewers. Music and video footage are original compositions by Peter Lai, music composer/record producer/music director. Produced numerous works for TV, government, records companies and commercial media.

  • The sort of throat singing in this vidio I think was on one of the mortal kombat games. But this vidio is very well put together. Evan though i am not a Budhist i do meditate as it relxes me and makes me at peace. I am not a good speller too as you can see.
