girl im sorry but i'm leaving.
we're both at fault, we're both to blame.
and it wasn't the other men cause there were other women.
this just isn't love, it's just the remorse of a loss, of a feeling.
even if i stayed it just wouldn't be the same.

double this drink up into the, tallest glass you got.
you know i aint used to sleeping all, alone.
gonna make it to the moon tonight on a 1 way kamikaze flight.
if i could get so high i'll leave behind my problems,
take em out with the empty bottles.

oh girl sorry but i'm leaving.
we're both at fault, we're both to blame.
and it wasn't the other men cause there were other women.
this just isn't love it's just the remorse of a loss of a feeling
even if i stayed it just wouldn't be the same.

me & this guitar are going swinging blind into the unknown.
you know a song & a stage is all i ever needed of a home.
someday i, will call from a payphone in a truckstop on the road
& you'll tell me how much better off you've been on your own.

oh girl sorry but i'm leaving.
we're both at fault, we're both to blame.
and it wasn't the other men cause there were other women.
this just isn't love it's just the remorse of a loss of a feeling
even if i stayed it just wouldn't be the same.

  • I wish people would shut the hell up about "selling out!" Let me think,um, get a little cleaner sound and we will pay you a shit load of money and instead of playing in front of 50 drunks in a bar you can perform in front of 10,000 and bring home real $. your and idiot for thinking they shouldn't. I've gotten so much out of their music that I wish them all the money and happiness that they deserve and have without a doubt EARNED! So just because you want to be a bum, don't wish it on them! loser

  • you're at fault, you're to blame. It was deffinitely the other men haha

  • and this is another jump where punk is getting closer to an ending

  • For real man, fuckin haters. Misery loves company and hates to see people succeed haha

  • FUCKIN' WHO FUCKIN' CARES ABOUT LABELS? JESUS! LISTEN TO WHAT YOU LIKE. On a side note: I personally think that this song kicks ass. Hearing it again was like seeing a long lost friend.

  • im proud to wear flannels, i could give a fuck if you think im a punk or not. i dont fucking care, all i need is music. fuck anyone who thinks i have to act or dress a certain way to be LABLED as a fuckin punk. damn kids these days, jeeze

  • @GorillaGrim tom gabel did just that with new wave. tom stopped giving a shit about what he once cared about and started making music just for the money. all the new shit they make is no longer against me! nor is it punk. its shit.

  • First - if you call yourself a punk, you probably aren't one. You're probably a 17 year old Anarchy and Angst touting sissy trying to be hard. Second - selling out doesn't involve making more money and being discovered by a larger group of fans - that is being good at what you do. Selling out is changing your ethics and your sound solely for the intent of fitting into the stereotype of corporate rock being vomited out of the radio. Punk is punk, doesn't matter how it sounds or looks.

  • everyone who listens to against me and complains about how they've sold out, should just go play a pick up game of soccer.

dont call yourself a punk if you're hiding a flannel under a leather jacket.

    queers.

  • @gorf73 I agree I was listening to them before they were known and now that they have exposure I'm happy for them, I mean you should be happy for a bands success if you're a real fan. In my opinion there's no such thing as selling out: you do what you're passionate about and if you can make money for it kudos. But I totally agree!

  • Hahahaha! 1234!

  • First time i heard anything from this band was this CD of theirs. I was with a girl that quit frankly wasn't worth it anymore. and then this song played just as i dropped her off at her place. i just kinda went with it.
