This is so good. Such a sad event that dubstep got a bad name. So many of my dumb friends discard this beautiful genre because they think clubstep/brostep is the only dubstep that is out there. I managed to make some of them come to their senses by introducing them to Kode 9, Benga, Skream, Clubroot, Burial etc.

Based upon my experience from the hardcore/gabber scene I expect the following to happen: first it's an underground scene. Then the followers come, who fuck that scene up. Then the underground people separate from the "others". Then the "others" will stop coming, leaving the underground alone. It took about 5 years for hardcore to go back underground. I expect roughly the same to happen to the dubstep scene.
First: hype. After that: death of the hype (=back to the underground).

@DondeRob Same with everything.. when come kind of music is soaked off in charts, something new have to be in there.. dont know hows in other countries, but in germany nearly every kind was in charts, except speedcore (but I dont think that it'll took long for its first-entry in it). Lets see what future's delivering ;)
