  • Great looking layout. The sound from the loco sounds amazing. Realy impressed with the whole effect.

  • @REDTROOP44 Thanks. The next show is June 12 at the library in Paso Robles California. I want to reshoot this video with the modules set up out in the sunlight. It should look even better. CL

  • @REDTROOP44 Hey. The Jan-Feb Narrow Gauge & Short Line Gazette has an article about how I built loco #101. Loco 101 and 104 use cheap ($70) sound units from MRC. Engine #105 has a much better Broadway Limited unit.

  • Hi guys , just recovering from a heart by-pass. This is recommended viewing ! It makes me feel better to see such great modelling . Thanks

  • @classiclantern I'll have to see if i can get hold of a copy over here in the UK. I'll have to subscribe to it if i can.

  • @classiclantern Can't wait.

  • @pacificcoastrailway No leave it in, it shows how it works. I read about this some time ago in MRR. Great to see it in use

  • Yes! It works very well. I should have removed it for the video. It's a scrap of untempered Masonite(TM) with the rough side down. Two nails glued on (hot melt) and two holes in the bottom of and car. I think John Allen devised it.

  • Does your track cleaning car really work?
