@ClearLight1967 @ClearLight1967 it's all coming back to me now - worst pitched battle I ever saw at a gig was when some idiot put Madness and Echo and The Bunnymen on the same bill at Camden Electric Ballroom. We all had to take our DMs off and leave them in a pile inside the door but the skins misbehaved anyway. You're right about 1978 BTW, a quick rise to fame then a pretty rapid return to obscurity. The other surprising support act The Lurkers had back then was Tubeway Army/Gary Numan

@shedend76 Late reply - I was at that Lyceum show and if I remember correctly it was in 1978. Also on the bill were Duffo, Johnny Moped, and Ivor Biggun and the Red Nosed Burglars. One of the few gigs where I have ever seen the police come into the venue and forceably remove people for a kicking outside. Mind you, there was a massed batlle between punks and skins going on through the Lurkers set. Howard's mic kept cutting out too.

You're very welcome,glad you enjoy it.I remember this was uploaded on youtube before,about two years ago,but was removed shortly afterwards. It took me some time to find it,so as soon as i did, i posted it right away! :) Anyway,i will keep looking for more footage from those great times.Cheers!
