Last time I was at Disney World was in '05, and the opining was just like that.

All parks do it at 9am...If ur in the resort early thing, u have to go outside of the park to see it.

Do they do this all the time, cause i went on a wed during the summer and they let everyone through the gates.

I believe that they do rope rope at each of the parks everyday. But maybe they don't have it at the park when it is the designated Magic Morning Hours park (resort guests being let in an hour early).
