i saw this production and thoroughly enjoyed it. i thought mimi hines was great. obviously, it was much better live than the video shows, but glad to see it on you tube anyway.

Very unfair criticism about the staging! Sure it is not "Broadway". I'd call it "homespun" ... Mimi and the dancers are not in their prime here, and the end of the number is quite lively and fitting.
Now, the singing is top-notch: we can HEAR all the lyrics and it is sung with great care!
I hope I can dance that way when I am Miss Hines' age here!
This production may not be too slick but it has lots of sincerity!

That is NOT Gower Champion's staging. Not even close. The choreography in this stinks.
