darth maul knife part 1

wire brush + angle grinder = no rust, oh and shouldn't you have used a cutting blad to cut the knife shape out?

If you have a cut out wheel it works better. The point of this video is that you can make a knife with less tools. I am not sure what you mean about rust?

@sirboze They are from a sawmill they use big band saw blades it wont be cheap unless you can find used ones that they are done with.

Nice work! I have a question, though... what kind of saw blades are those? I'd love to get a couple big, old saw blades like that, add an interesting hilt, and create a "battle saw!" :) I just have no clue where to look for saw blades like that.

hey you probably already know this and dont mean to be a downer but it'd be a good idea to get a guard for that grinder those blades go at like 180mph and if that grinder wheel comes apart as they sometimes do thats gonna punch straight through your skull, really digging the knife though its an awesome shape
